You can drive a car with foreign plates for up to 6 months
a year. If you are a resident, however, you are not
allowed to drive with foreign plates on your car at all.
The fine for breaking this rule is stiff! Importing a car
to Spain requires so much paper work and time, that it's
really best not even to bother?
