You will find kilometer
after kilometer of beaches on the Costa Blanca coast, and
many of these have a "Blue Flag title". A "Blue Flag" is a
symbol of very high quality, and means that the beach,
water and facilities are of the absolute best standard.
This title is bestowed by the European Federation of
Environmental Education (EFEE) and has to be renewed
annually.
The Valencian community is, one of the regions in Europe
that receives the most awards each year.
