EMPADRONAMIENTO "PADRON"
The "padron" is a register kept by the Town Hall of all
persons who are residing in the town. As a resident, you are
obliged to be registered here, otherwise you can not use the
municipal services. You will get a document that proves you
are living in the surtant multicipal, which you also need for
some other applications. It is an advantage for the community
if you registered as living there, as they receive support
according to the number of people registered as citizens. This
in turn will determine how much money they will have for
services, like hospital, police, renovation etc.
When;
When you buy a motor vehicle, driver's license, health card
and others
What you need;
You will need your residencia card or passport plus a copy,
original and copy of your NIE number, copy of escritura or
rental contract (in Spanish).

At the Town Hall in the community you live
