The Spanish ID number for foreigners is called a NIE number.
The easiest way to apply for your NIE number is to deliver
your application to the nearest national police station in the
community where you live, and then fetch it yourself after two
to four weeks.
If you need an NIE number quickly, you can - at the moment -
travel to Alicante and get it the same day, but it can often
take a whole day because of long lines.
When;
.. you are going to buy a home or car, loan money or start
your own company, apply for a job or go to school, register in
Seguridad Social, apply for a resident permit or even a local
sport team etc.;

Need;
Application forms, 2 passport photographs as well as your
passport
and a copy (a minimum of 2 just to be sure), and you have to
meet
up yourself.
Where;
The National Police station in Alicante or in the community
you belong.
